We are currently in-network providers for the following insurance companies:
Aetna (including Aetna Student Health, PPO, HMO)
Consolidated Health Plan (student health insurance e.g. NYU, Sarah Lawrence College)
United Health Care/Student Resource for The New School
We qualify as an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans that provide those benefits. It is important to contact your insurance company prior to beginning therapy to determine what behavioral health benefits you have through your plan. We can give you more information about what questions to ask your insurance company when you call to schedule an appointment.
If you do not have Aetna or Consolidated Health Plans, the fee for therapy is established at the consultation. The therapist you work with will discuss the details of your finances, insurance, and other factors to try to come to a mutually-agreed upon fee. Our mission is to serve the community broadly, not just those with the most means to pay. Therefore it may be possible to set a lower fee depending on your circumstances and the availability of lower fee time slots. This is determined on a case-by-case basis and would need to be discussed directly with the therapist prior to beginning treatment.
